Analysis Of The Obligation To Provide Notification To The Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) In The Context Of Company Merger: A Perspective On Business Competition Law

Abstract

This paper discusses business expansion/expansion in the context of company mergers and the obligation to provide notification to the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU). The obligation to provide such notification includes certain criteria and is carried out within no later than 30 (thirty) days from the date of the merger becoming legally effective. Violation of this provision may result in administrative sanctions in the form of fines.
